With a lifetime of passion and experience, 14 years as a master gardener and owning an independent garden design business since 2002, I aim to do more than cover bare landscape. Instead, I aspire to create outdoor living spaces that please all of the senses, providing a welcoming place to restore and renew your connection with the land.

Tara studied geography and Japanese at Western Michigan University, which served to foster an appreciation for art and science, maintaining a strong sense of the physical land and how different cultures utilize and revere the soil. She is a dynamic designer, drawing inspiration from naturally occurring native flora and fauna. She is able to design living gardens to suit your aesthetic and functional needs with special consideration of budget, timeliness, and environmental suitability.
